Google is hiring a Consumer Maps Financial Analyst to support financial planning and analysis. You'll work with SQL and programming languages like Java and Python to provide in-depth analysis for strategic decisions. This position requires 4 years of experience in FP&A or a related field.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. With 4 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, you are well-versed in financial modeling and analysis. You also have 2 years of experience working with SQL and one object-oriented programming language such as C, C++, C#, Objective-C, Java, or Python. Your familiarity with Ads is a plus, and you thrive in unstructured environments, navigating ambiguity while bringing clarity and structure as you go.
Your problem-solving and analytical skills are excellent, complemented by impeccable business judgment and the ability to communicate effectively with management. You possess outstanding leadership and influencing skills, enabling you to create and foster strong cross-functional networks and manage without authority. Your people skills allow you to convey complex messages clearly and concisely to different audiences.
What you'll do
As a Financial Analyst at Google, you will ensure that the company makes sound financial decisions. Your work will involve modeling business scenarios and tracking performance metrics, which will be used by leaders to make strategic company decisions. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on details while finding creative solutions to big-picture challenges. You will deliver monthly business reporting to align Geo and Ads stakeholders on performance and drivers. Additionally, you will partner with product leadership across Geo and Ads to evaluate, structure, and execute business plans and growth initiatives. Your role will also involve managing annual and long-range Geo business planning by collaborating with Geo and cross-functional teams across Revenue and Investments (OpEx, CoS).
