Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. With 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design, you have a strong portfolio showcasing your work. You are comfortable collaborating in a cross-functional organization and have a passion for creating user-centered designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Your experience includes creating user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes that enhance user experiences. You understand the importance of user research and usability testing, and you are skilled at gathering insights to inform your design decisions. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with product managers and engineers to bring your designs to life.

You are familiar with design tools such as Figma and have a keen eye for detail. Your ability to communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders is one of your strengths. You are also open to feedback and continuously seek to improve your design skills and processes.

Desirable

A Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. You have 8 years of experience in product design or UX, with a proven track record of working in a cross-functional team. Your experience in optimizing user journeys and understanding dynamic states across acquisition funnels will set you apart.

What you'll do

As a Senior Interaction Designer at Google, you will take complex tasks and make them intuitive and easy to use for billions of users. You will be responsible for envisioning how people will experience Google Fi's products and bringing that vision to life through user flows, wireframes, and prototypes. You will collaborate closely with UX researchers, product managers, and engineers to gather insights and iterate on your designs based on user feedback.

Your role will involve driving the prioritization of design-centered changes and improvements, ensuring that the user experience is at the forefront of product development. You will partner with product managers to establish a clear system for Google Fi's plan portfolio and pricing, optimizing key user journeys throughout the acquisition funnel. Your work will directly impact how users interact with Google Fi, making their experience seamless and enjoyable.
