Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in a technical role focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Your leadership experience spans at least 5 years, managing customer-facing technical teams and driving innovative solutions in AI. You possess deep knowledge in Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), making you a trusted advisor in these domains.

Your preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field with a focus on AI/ML. You have hands-on experience with Google Cloud's AI and machine learning products, such as Gemini for Government, Vertex AI, and BigQuery ML. Your understanding of responsible AI principles and their application in regulated environments sets you apart as a leader in the field.

You excel in communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Your ability to lead and execute complex, customer-facing technical engagements, such as Proof-of-Concepts and deep architectural reviews, showcases your expertise and confidence in the AI landscape.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as the senior-most technical expert for the Applied AI portfolio, guiding both your team and public sector customers. You will engage with key public sector customers to understand their unique needs and act as a trusted advisor on their AI journey. Your leadership will empower your team to deliver integrated, comprehensive solutions that address the world's most complex mission challenges through the transformative power of Google's culture.

You will lead customer-facing technical teams, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle challenges in AI and machine learning. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development and execution of innovative AI solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the adoption of Google Cloud's AI products in the public sector.
