Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of programming experience in Python or C++. Your background includes 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure, covering model deployment, evaluation, optimization, and data processing. You are skilled in debugging and have experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products. With at least 1 year of experience in software design and architecture, you are familiar with state-of-the-art GenAI techniques, including LLMs and Multi-Modal models. You also have a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, and ideally, you have experience in a technical leadership role.

You are passionate about developing accessible technologies and have a keen interest in how AI can change the way billions of users connect and interact with information. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to bring fresh ideas from various domains, including information retrieval, distributed computing, and large-scale system design.

Desirable

A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field would be a plus. Experience in developing accessible technologies is also desirable, as is a background in natural language processing and UI design.

What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Google, you will work on critical projects that leverage GenAI solutions and ML infrastructure.
