Who you are

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or have equivalent practical experience. With at least 2 years of experience in SoC Software, Architecture, or hardware validation, you have a solid foundation in mobile, Internet of Things (IoT), or consumer electronics. Your coding skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl enable you to automate data collection, analysis, and report generation effectively.

You have a preferred background of 4 years in SoC Software, Architecture, or hardware validation, particularly in mobile, IoT, or consumer electronics. Your experience includes using lab test equipment like oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and network analyzers for mixed-signal validation. You are knowledgeable about operating systems such as Android, iOS, and Linux, and understand how they interact with SoC hardware for memory management, power management, and scheduling.

What you'll do

As a SoC Power Architect at Google, you will be part of a team that pushes boundaries in developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. You will monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, providing analysis to inform product development. Additionally, you will use data analysis tools and techniques to reconcile datasets and deliver insights, maintaining and updating internal databases and repositories of technical information.
