You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting supply chain or logistics. You possess 3 years of experience specifically in data center logistics and have a strong background in multi-modal transportation operations. Your analytical skills are top-notch, as you have spent 5 years analyzing data and generating business insights to guide decisions. An MBA or Master's degree is preferred, but your practical experience speaks volumes.

You thrive in complex environments and enjoy leading multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Your ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional partners is essential, as you will coordinate efforts across various teams and time zones. What you'll do

As the Transportation Operations Manager, you will own the end-to-end execution of Google’s global logistics network. Your role involves managing the day-to-day operations of multiple sites and carriers, ensuring that the physical infrastructure powering Google Cloud moves seamlessly across borders. You will be responsible for cost, quality, and service performance within your region, leading both operational and strategic initiatives. You will proactively identify process gaps and drive improvements, ensuring that all logistics operations align with Google's high standards.

You will control quarterly budgets, manage invoices, and oversee capital improvement projects while maintaining strong relationships with internal customers. Your ability to create, lead, and support cross-functional initiatives will be crucial in driving the alignment and prioritization of complex projects in a fast-paced environment with many interdependencies. You will be the primary lead for ensuring that all logistics operations are executed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of Google’s logistics strategy.
