Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting supply chain or logistics. Your background includes 7 years of experience analyzing data and generating business insights, as well as 5 years of experience with data center logistics. You also possess an MBA or Master's degree in a related field, and a certification in Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) is preferred. Your expertise extends to multi-modal transportation operations, where you've utilized data analysis to drive decision-making effectively.
You are knowledgeable in data center equipment environments or computer component manufacturing, and you have a strong command of SQL, analytics, and operations six sigma certification or other relevant operations coursework. You understand that a problem isnβt truly solved until itβs solved for all, which aligns with Google's mission to create opportunities for everyone.
What you'll do
As the Global Transportation Operations Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Your role involves coordinating with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will guide the execution of global transportation operations, enhancing the customer experience while driving more efficient transit at reduced expenses.
You will serve as the global subject matter expert, aligning processes and systems across information technology teams, third-party logistics partners, and cross-functional stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include leading program life-cycles and continuous improvement initiatives, overseeing everything from business case development to change management and training. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that transportation operations are optimized and aligned with Google's strategic goals.
