Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis. Your fluency in English and Mandarin enables you to effectively manage client relationships and communicate insights clearly. You possess a strong background in consulting, digital marketing strategy, or business intelligence, particularly within the Gaming or Apps industry, and you understand mobile app business models and the Google advertising ecosystem.
Your experience includes translating data into actionable business insights, structuring problems into frameworks, and collaborating with executive stakeholders. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with quantitative data, interpreting metrics and understanding statistical significance. Proficiency in SQL for ad-hoc data extraction is also part of your skill set.
Desirable
You have 7 years of experience in consulting or digital marketing strategy, with a focus on the Gaming or Apps industry. Your knowledge of the Google advertising ecosystem and mobile app business models sets you apart. You are adept at identifying emerging trends in the App ecosystem and pitching opportunities to clients, leveraging your investigative background to build narratives that drive growth.
What you'll do
In this role, you will act as a consultant for Gaming and App clients, bridging the gap between data and business strategy. You will leverage your analytical skills to define research scope and interpret results, synthesizing them into go-to-market recommendations. Your ability to monitor client performance using internal dashboards and measurement tools will be crucial in driving business performance. You will collaborate with internal Data Analysts to validate hypotheses before commissioning analysis, ensuring that your insights are data-driven and actionable.
You will also utilize your industry knowledge to identify emerging trends in the App ecosystem, pitching opportunities to clients and helping them navigate profound industry shifts. Your role will involve continuous engagement with clients, challenging their perceptions of their business and how Google can support their growth. You will focus on helping clients drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more.
