Supply Chain Manager • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or an operations role within a manufacturing or technology environment. You possess a strong understanding of product lifecycle management, from prototype to production to end-of-life, and have experience in material readiness, production control, Bill of Materials (BOM) management, and supplier performance management. Your ability to customize communications based on the audience allows you to interact effectively with technical, non-technical, and executive groups. You thrive in unstructured environments and demonstrate excellent thinking and judgment skills.

Desirable

Experience with data center, construction, cloud infrastructure, or capital equipment supply chains is preferred. You have a background in negotiating funding and managing capacity across multiple global suppliers, and you are familiar with project management methodologies. Your problem-solving skills ensure that challenges are addressed comprehensively, and you are committed to delivering solutions that create opportunities for everyone.

What you'll do

As a Supply Chain Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your role will involve coordinating efforts across various offices and time zones to ensure on-time project delivery. You will identify supply chain risks and execute mitigation strategies while maintaining documentation of global supply maps, procurement models, and logistics. Additionally, you will partner cross-functionally with engineering, planning, and category managers to drive process improvements and system optimizations, representing the supply chain organization in program updates.
