Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 2 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or operations roles within a manufacturing or technology environment. Your background includes working with material readiness, production control, or supplier performance management across all phases of the product lifecycle, from prototype to mass production to end of life.
You possess experience in data center, construction, hyperscale cloud infrastructure, or capital equipment supply chains. You are skilled in discussing early funding and managing capacity across multiple global suppliers. Your ability to customize communications based on the audience allows you to interact effectively with technical, non-technical, and executive groups.
You thrive in highly ambiguous and unstructured environments, employing critical thinking and sound judgment. You understand that a problem isnβt truly solved until itβs resolved for all, which aligns with Googleβs mission to create opportunities for everyone.
What you'll do
As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring strong coordination skills.
You will be responsible for managing inventory buffers and risk buys, identifying and communicating supply chain risks, and developing mitigation plans. Documenting global supply chain maps will be essential to ensure continuity across procurement, logistics, and fulfillment. You will lead collaboration with Engineering, Planning, and Category Managers to represent supply chain status in program meetings and drive optimizations to team scale and capability.
