Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in program or project management. Ideally, you bring 4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operations within manufacturing environments. Your expertise includes material readiness, production control, and managing supplier performance levels. You understand the full product life-cycle, from initial prototyping to production, and have experience managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production schedules. Your investigative skills are excellent, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey project status and risks to cross-functional stakeholders effectively.
What you'll do
As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Your role involves coordinating with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will develop frameworks for supply chain and production management to reduce lead times and increase global capacity. Additionally, you will create supply chain maps and mitigation plans to identify potential bottlenecks, ensuring continuous supply throughout the product life-cycle. Partnering with Engineering and Planning teams, you will work to improve existing systems, provide project updates, and drive process improvements for the organization.
