Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution in a new product introduction (NPI) role. You excel at managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
You understand that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s addressed for all involved parties. As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Your ability to work with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners is essential for success in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will coordinate the players involved in your projects, keeping them up to date on progress and deadlines. You will determine and collect data required to govern programs effectively and drive stakeholder decision-making. Anticipating change management requirements will be crucial, as you will need to manage expectations of executive cross-functional leads and ensure they have the insights they need to make effective decisions. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.
