Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes experience with supply or demand planning, such as demand forecasting, inventory management, and resource allocation. You have developed planning models for new product introductions and possess excellent analytical skills, particularly in data modeling, trend analysis, and statistics.

You thrive in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you believe that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s resolved for all involved. You are adept at communicating clearly with diverse teams and can navigate complex project requirements with ease.

What you'll do

As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and ensure clear communication with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span multiple offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring you to coordinate various players and keep them updated on progress and deadlines.

You will be accountable for the order life-cycle, ensuring that customer demand is met while developing inventory buffer strategies that optimize cost and flexibility. Leading demand and supply planning meetings with cross-functional teams will be a key part of your role, where you will review supply and demand risks, mitigation options, and service level goals. You will partner with cross-functional teams to procure materials and ensure availability to fulfill customer needs while driving operational efficiency.
