Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes using material requirements planning tools, and you have a strong understanding of supply chain operations within the tech industry. You may also hold a Master's degree or MBA in Business Process Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields, and possess certification in supply chain, such as APICS.

With 8 years of experience in supply chain operations or planning, you are well-versed in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and tools. Your knowledge extends to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, and you have experience in developing and implementing planning systems and processes. You are proficient in analytics, SQL, or BigQuery, and you understand that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s resolved for all stakeholders.

What you'll do

As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Your role involves working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will coordinate efforts across various teams, ensuring that everyone is updated on progress and deadlines. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

You will be responsible for the sustained improvements of inventory models and supply chain buffers, developing short and long-term supply models to minimize total costs and inventories while maintaining service levels. Additionally, you will develop and justify inventory buffer strategies that optimize cost and flexibility, and coordinate product transition planning requirements across teams, ensuring proactive communication to internal customers.
