Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes expertise in supply chain, capacity planning, materials management, and contract manufacturing, particularly in manufacturing operations. You excel in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, demonstrating your ability to drive initiatives from idea to implementation and adoption.
Your communication, presentation, and people management skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively coordinate with stakeholders across various teams. You understand that a problem isnβt truly solved until itβs resolved for all, which aligns with Google's mission to create opportunities for everyone.
What you'll do
As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Your role involves planning requirements, managing project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will coordinate efforts across different offices and time zones, ensuring that all players are updated on progress and deadlines.
You will focus on sustaining product operations and manufacturing for trays, collaborating with tray product and materials teams to source products at global contract manufacturers. Your responsibilities will include driving mitigation efforts to minimize liability of excess and obsolete inventory caused by demand reductions, platform transitions, and product moves. You will also work closely with manufacturing operations and planning teams to identify and drive opportunities to improve product on-time delivery.
