Sales Development Representative • Senior

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in promoting analytics, data warehousing, or data management software. Your background includes planning, pitching, and executing a territory business strategy, and you have experience collaborating with sales engineers and customer technical leads to build compelling business cases for transformation and implementation plans.

You possess knowledge of market-leading Business Intelligence (BI), data analytics middleware, or data warehouse technologies. Your understanding of the data analytics technology stack includes Hadoop, Spark, columnar data warehouses, data streaming, ETL processes, data governance, predictive analytics, and data science frameworks. You are also familiar with Google Cloud Data and Analytics technologies such as BigQuery, Looker, and Pub/Sub.

Your ability to engage with audiences through social channels and deliver impactful messages sets you apart. You excel in collaborating with executive stakeholders, acting as a business advisor and thought leader in data and analytics. Your investigative skills enable you to use data to inform decisions and work effectively with stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms and a strong understanding of the competitive landscape in data analytics will be beneficial. Familiarity with developing Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies with partners in the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem is a plus.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on building accounts and assisting customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud Data and Analytics solutions. You will provide solution differentiation and demonstrate the business impact of these solutions. Collaborating with Google account and technical teams, you will develop and drive sales pipelines while providing your expertise to customers.

You will be responsible for executing territory business strategies and working closely with sales engineers to ensure that customer needs are met. Your role will involve engaging with customers to understand their challenges and how Google Cloud can address them effectively. You will also play a key role in developing GTM efforts with Google Cloud Platform partners, ensuring that the solutions offered align with market needs.
