Sales Development Representative • Senior

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in promoting analytics, data warehousing, or data management software. Your background includes working with sales engineers and customer technical leads to build compelling business cases for implementation. You possess a strong understanding of Business Intelligence (BI), data analytics middleware, and data warehouse technologies, which allows you to effectively communicate the value of these solutions to potential clients.

Your expertise extends to the data analytics technology stack, including Hadoop/Spark, columnar data warehouses, data streaming, ETL, data governance, predictive analytics, and data science frameworks. You are well-versed in Google Cloud Data and Analytics offerings such as BigQuery, Looker, and Pub/Sub, enabling you to articulate key solution differentiations and business impacts to stakeholders. You have the ability to engage audiences through social channels and deliver messages that resonate with executive stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted business advisor in data and analytics.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on building accounts and assisting customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud data and analytics solutions. You will articulate the key differentiators of these solutions and their business impacts, working closely with Google account and technical teams to develop and drive sales pipelines. Your responsibilities will include developing Go-to-Market (GTM) efforts with Google Cloud platform partners, ensuring that the solutions meet the specific needs of various industries.

You will leverage your excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills to use data to inform decisions and influence stakeholders effectively. As part of an entrepreneurial team in a rapidly growing business, you will play a key role in helping customers transform and build what's next for their business using Google Cloud technology. Your ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders will be crucial in driving the success of the sales initiatives.
