Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role. Your ability to communicate fluently in Japanese is essential for managing client relationships in this region, and you have experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders. You understand the nuances of Infrastructure Modernization, Application Modernization, Data Management, Data Analytics, Cloud AI, Security, Networking, Migrations, and SAP. You have a proven track record of driving business cycles and building strategies to uncover new workloads with customers.

You are skilled in defining delivery and consumption plans and transitioning them for execution. Your experience includes migrating applications and services to cloud platforms, and you are knowledgeable about security concepts such as encryption, identity management, access control, attack vectors, and pen-testing. You thrive in environments where you can facilitate productivity and collaboration through cloud solutions, and you enjoy problem-solving key technical issues for customers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will facilitate the adoption of Google Cloud products by educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses. You will listen to customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance their productivity and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include liaising with product marketing management and engineering teams to stay updated on industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products. You will lead technical engagements during the solution phase and support pricing activities while transitioning final delivery plans to implementation teams. Maintaining awareness of progress against delivery plans will be crucial, as you provide support to cross-functional teams during ramp, delivery, migration, or implementation phases.
