You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in cloud native architecture, ideally in a customer-facing or support role. Your expertise includes cloud engineering, virtualization, and containerization platforms, allowing you to engage effectively with technical stakeholders and executive leaders. You are proficient in programming languages, debugging, systems design, and conducting customer workshops, which are essential for delivering impactful solutions.

Your experience in promoting technical solutions spans various domains, including Infrastructure Modernization, Application Modernization, Data Management, and Cloud AI. You have a proven track record of driving the entire business cycle, from defining delivery plans to transitioning them for execution. Your ability to build technical strategies helps uncover new workloads with customers, and you are well-versed in migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.

You understand security concepts such as encryption, identity management, and access control, which are critical in today's cloud environment. Your role at Google Cloud will involve facilitating productive, mobile, and collaborative work for educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses that choose Google Cloud products.

What you'll do

As a Senior Customer Engineer, you will lead technical engagements during the solution phase, ensuring that customer needs are met with tailored solutions. You will facilitate the post-business transition by supporting pricing activities and transitioning the final delivery plan to implementation teams. Your role will require maintaining awareness of progress against the delivery plan, providing support to cross-functional teams during ramp, delivery, migration, or implementation phases.

You will listen to customer feedback and deliver solutions that enhance their productivity and collaboration. Your technical expertise will be crucial in problem-solving key issues for customers, and you will assist fellow sales Googlers in navigating complex technical challenges. You will also engage in customer workshops, demonstrating the value of Google Cloud products and services.
