Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 6 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs. Your background includes triaging technical issues and software development, with a strong ability to write, read, and debug code in languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, or Go. You are familiar with distributed systems and design patterns, and you have experience creating content for technical audiences. Your knowledge of web technologies, including HTTP, HTML, DNS, and TCP, complements your technical skills. You are also able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin, which is essential for client relationship management in the region.
Desirable
You have experience working with public cloud services and infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud Platform. Your expertise extends to developing developer tools, including automation, testing, and debugging. You are skilled in using techniques such as packet capture and analysis, artificial packet creation, load testing, and traffic path analysis to troubleshoot network latency and packet loss. Your understanding of networking fundamentals, such as Load Balancing, Cloud Storage, Peering, and TCP/IP, is strong, and you possess knowledge of Linux or Unix systems at a system or network administrator level.
What you'll do
In this role, you will understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with internal teams, finding ways to improve the product and drive production. You will participate in rotating on-call schedules, including during nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure prompt resolution of customer-impacting technical issues. Your responsibilities will also include traveling up to 15% in-region for meetings and onsite delivery activities as needed. You will collaborate with various teams to influence the momentum of incident response for critical customer issues, ensuring that customer satisfaction remains a top priority.
