Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in cloud native architecture, ideally in a customer-facing or support role. Your background includes deployment planning, orchestration, and change management, and you are skilled in programming languages, debugging, and systems design. You excel at engaging with and influencing technical stakeholders and executive leaders, ensuring that their needs are met effectively.
You have experience in infrastructure modernization, application modernization, data management, data analytics, cloud AI, networking, migrations, or security. Your familiarity with Google Cloud products allows you to differentiate and provide value to customers. You are adept at working with product and capacity teams to resolve technical and capacity blockers, ensuring smooth deployment processes.
What you'll do
As a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Outcome Customer Engineer, you will drive the initial and ongoing business ramp for customers, clearing blockers and ensuring they receive maximum benefit from their investment. You will manage and execute deployment plans, transitioning scoped workloads into production while providing technical leadership to customers and partners. Your role will have a direct impact on the velocity and incremental consumption of customer workloads, leading to accelerated value realization and higher adoption rates.
You will identify expansion opportunities for new workloads within accounts during project execution, driving sustainable product usage to help customers realize ongoing value and secure future agreement renewals. Your responsibilities will include tracking progress of customer workloads, moving them from agreement to consumption as quickly as possible, and ensuring that customers are satisfied with their cloud solutions.
