Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, or Finance transformation. You possess strong business accounting acumen, covering financial statements and journal entries, as well as financial data systems architecture and controls. Your experience includes writing SQL scripts and navigating datasets and pipelines, which allows you to build complex workflows effectively. You excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing executive leaders, demonstrating exceptional communication skills that help distill complex problems for various stakeholders.

You have a proven track record of navigating ambiguity and complex problems, showcasing your ability to manage stakeholders effectively. Your attention to detail is exceptional, whether it’s in written artifacts or data troubleshooting and reconciliation. You understand the importance of financial data systems within the ecosystem of Google Cloud, and you are adept at evaluating these systems to identify opportunities for new features, process automation, and risk-mitigating controls.

Desirable

You have a strong background in financial data systems architecture and controls, which enhances your ability to recommend improvements and troubleshoot production issues. Your experience in FP&A, Accounting, or Finance transformation is extensive, and you are comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously while focusing on the details and finding creative solutions to big-picture challenges.

What you'll do

As a Senior Financial Analyst at Google, you will ensure that the company makes sound financial decisions by modeling business scenarios and tracking performance metrics.
