Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. With 7 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, you bring a wealth of knowledge to the table. Your expertise includes conducting deep competitive intelligence, modeling competitor gross margins, and identifying core cost drivers for silicon companies. You possess a strong understanding of global semiconductor supply chain dynamics and operational risks, along with experience analyzing large-scale capital investments and long-term supply agreements.

Your technical semiconductor expertise is complemented by your financial and supply chain acumen. You understand the end-to-end semiconductor fabrication process, from silicon ingot to advanced packaging, test, and assembly. Familiarity with cost-per-transistor, yield characteristics, and the economics of current and next-generation process nodes (e.g., 5nm, 3nm) is part of your skill set. You have the ability to build sophisticated financial models tailored for high-capital-expenditure and long-cycle time semiconductor projects.

What you'll do

As a Senior Strategic Financial Analyst at Google, you will ensure that sound financial decisions are made regarding chip development. Your work will involve modeling business scenarios and tracking performance metrics, which will be used by leaders to make strategic company decisions. You will lead individual projects while working on multiple initiatives simultaneously, focusing on the details while finding creative ways to tackle big picture challenges. You will pioneer financial innovation within the team, leading transformational projects to develop novel metrics for custom silicon and AI technologies. Your role will also involve automating critical workstreams and establishing consolidated, transparent program tracking.
