Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 5 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages. With 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, you are well-versed in software design and architecture. You have a strong background in ML infrastructure, including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, and data processing, along with debugging skills. Your experience extends to GenAI techniques such as LLMs, Multi-Modal, and Large Vision Models, as well as concepts like language modeling and computer vision. You are familiar with distributed systems and architecture, and systems integration, which enhances your ability to tackle complex challenges.

In addition to your technical skills, you possess strong problem-solving abilities and can work effectively in a team environment. You have a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, which further solidifies your expertise. Your experience with data structures and algorithms spans over 5 years, and you have held a technical leadership role for at least a year. You are also knowledgeable in developing accessible technologies and have experience working with Graph Mining, which adds to your diverse skill set.

What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Google, you will design and implement innovative GenAI solutions that leverage advanced ML infrastructure. You will evaluate trade-offs between different techniques and their application domains, ensuring that the solutions you develop are both effective and scalable. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to adapt content based on product updates and user feedback, ensuring that the solutions meet the needs of billions of users.

You will triage product or system issues, debugging and tracking them to resolve any challenges that arise. Your responsibilities will include analyzing the sources of issues and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality. You will also contribute to the development of next-generation technologies that change how users connect and interact with information.
