Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 5 years of experience in Intelligence, Incident Response, Law Enforcement, or Enterprise Security Operations. Your ability to communicate fluently in both Japanese and English is essential, as this role involves customer-facing interactions with local stakeholders. You have experience engaging with technical stakeholders and presenting to executive leaders, showcasing your strong communication skills.
Your background includes familiarity with Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) methodologies and their application within cybersecurity organizations. You have a solid understanding of the analysis of CTI, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities. Additionally, you have experience deploying and analyzing data from various technical security controls such as web proxies, firewalls, IPS, IDS, and enterprise antivirus solutions.
You are well-versed in standard network logging formats and have experience with network management systems and security information and event management. Your analytical skills allow you to present strategic intelligence about threat groups, their methodologies, and motivations effectively to diverse audiences.
Desirable
Experience working with national intelligence services or large government ministries is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced intelligence access tools and techniques. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to the broader intelligence community.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work closely with customers to determine their intelligence needs and requirements, preparing and delivering briefings and reports to executives, security teams, and fellow analysts. You will analyze threat trends and present findings that convey the importance of intelligence insights to various stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include supporting monitoring and detection capabilities, as well as enhancing response strategies based on your analysis.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that intelligence efforts align with organizational goals and customer needs. Your role will involve continuous engagement with technical stakeholders, ensuring that intelligence products meet the highest standards of quality and relevance. You will also contribute to the development of best practices within the team, sharing your insights and expertise to foster a culture of learning and improvement.
