Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 5 years of experience with security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling. Your background includes 5 years of experience in security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols. You are proficient in coding with one or more general-purpose languages and have at least 1 year of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or conducting technical risk analysis in an enterprise environment.
You excel in identifying and prioritizing cyber threats for investigation, and you have experience with threat actor attribution, threat tracking, and analyzing complex attack chains across the full intrusion lifecycle. Your technical analysis skills include developing file, host, and network signatures leveraging multiple malware and network detection platforms, as well as static and dynamic malware analysis and host forensics. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work with the Google Threat Intelligence Group to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. You will actively monitor systems for attacks and intrusions, collaborating with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities. Your work will focus on finding and mitigating threats in the AI space, integrating intelligence with Google DeepMind to improve detection capabilities. You will develop scripts and automations to collect and process data subsets, facilitating intelligence analysis and supporting the team in driving automation requirements into larger engineering efforts and systems.
