Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in program management. Your background includes managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, particularly in the areas of compute, storage, and ML hardware/software resource efficiency. You possess excellent program management skills, enabling you to successfully drive and land complex cross-functional programs. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. You are a strong problem-solver, negotiator, and organizer, believing that a problem isnβt truly solved until itβs resolved for all.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your role will involve developing processes and tools in partnership with the Engineering and Data Science teams to measure top-level metrics for the portfolio of efficiency and sustainability initiatives. You will also partner with finance and key stakeholders to build robust and auditable mechanisms to track and report impact at the company level, scaling existing processes.
