Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of industry experience in VLSI design or CAD flow development. Your expertise includes front-end design tools such as Lint, CDC/RDC, or simulation, and you are proficient in writing production scripts in Python or Tcl. You also have a strong background in software development, particularly in front-end CAD, and experience with ML algorithms and AI application development. You are familiar with the full software development life cycle and have worked with advanced technology nodes.
What you'll do
As a Senior Silicon CAD Engineer at Google, you will be part of a team that pushes boundaries in developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. You will collaborate with design teams to understand requirements and enable scalable solutions, working across functional domains to develop and validate complex CAD flows. Your role will involve driving EDA vendors to improve tool quality and deliver custom solutions for Google, ensuring that the innovations you contribute to shape the next generation of hardware experiences.
What we offer
Google offers a competitive salary range for this full-time position, with a base salary between $156,000 and $229,000, along with bonuses, equity, and benefits.
