Job Description
Who you are
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or have equivalent practical experience, and you bring at least 8 years of experience in creating and using verification components and environments in standard verification methodology. Your expertise includes verifying digital logic at the RTL level using SystemVerilog or Specman/E for FPGAs or ASICs. A Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred, along with experience in verification techniques and the full verification life cycle. You have a strong background in performance verification of ASICs and ASIC components, and you have participated in four or more System on a Chip (SoC) cycles.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of a Research and Development team that pushes boundaries by developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. Your contributions will shape the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance, efficiency, and integration. You will build verification components, implement constrained-random testing, and drive verification closure. Collaborating closely with design and verification engineers, you will verify digital designs and perform direct verification. You will enhance constrained-random verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM, and you will formally verify designs with SVA and industry-leading formal tools. Your responsibilities will include identifying and writing coverage measures for corner-cases, debugging tests with design engineers to ensure functionally correct design blocks, and closing coverage measures to identify verification holes and demonstrate progress towards tape-out.
What we offer
At Google, you will be part of a team that values innovation and collaboration. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that impacts millions of users worldwide. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe diverse teams build better products.
