Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience programming in C++, Python, Java, or Go. You have a strong background in building developer tools that improve developer velocity, code quality, and code health, such as compilers and automated release systems. Your experience includes working with performance and large-scale systems, data analysis, and debugging. You are proficient in code and system health, diagnosis, and resolution, and have a solid understanding of software test engineering. You are also familiar with data structures and algorithms, either in an academic or industry setting. If you have a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, that would be a plus.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer III at Google, you will work on critical projects that enhance the productivity of developers across the organization. You will contribute to the design and implementation of tools that streamline the development process, ensuring best practices are followed in code quality and efficiency.
