Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages. If you hold a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, that's a plus. You are familiar with data structures and algorithms, having applied this knowledge in either academic or industry settings. Your experience includes diagnosing and resolving issues in code and systems, as well as software test engineering. You have a passion for developing accessible technologies and are eager to contribute to projects that impact billions of users.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer at Google, you will work on critical projects that align with Google's needs, particularly within Google Photos. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy exciting new product features. Your role will involve continuously improving software components and architecture, identifying and resolving issues in existing code, and ensuring user trust in Google Photos. You will have opportunities to switch teams and projects as you grow and evolve within the fast-paced environment at Google.
