Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in Software Engineering, SRE, or DevOps. With at least 3 years of experience in Python, you are skilled in architecting scalable AI systems on cloud platforms. You have experience deploying conversational agents using code-based frameworks and deploying resources via Terraform or similar tools, automating the setup of agents, functions, and networking.

You possess a strong background in building full-stack applications that interact with enterprise IT infrastructures. A Master's degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred. You have experience implementing multi-agent systems using frameworks like ReAct and self-reflection, along with debugging agent logic and optimizing tool selection.

You are adept at troubleshooting live, high-traffic systems during critical windows and have a proven track record in developing and driving customer projects forward in a timely manner. Your ability to connect agents to enterprise knowledge bases and optimize RAG chunking to prevent hallucinations is a key asset. You are comfortable building in real-time with customers utilizing modern generative AI tools and are willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

What you'll do

As a Field Solutions Architect (FSA) in Applied AI, you will be the primary delivery arm for our customers' most critical AI initiatives. You will take initial conversational prototypes and transform them into production-ready solutions, owning the engineering life-cycle and ensuring production-grade security and networking. You will identify repeatable field patterns and technical "friction points" in Google’s AAI stack, converting them into reusable modules or product feature requests for Engineering teams.

You will co-build with customer engineering teams to instill Google-grade development best practices, ensuring long-term project success and high end-user adoption. Your role will involve collaborating closely with customers to understand their needs and translating those into effective AI solutions that leverage Google's technology stack. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and performance in the solutions you deliver, ensuring they meet customer expectations and industry standards.
