Field Solutions Architect Manager • Lead

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. With 7 years of experience in cloud computing or a technical customer-facing role, you have a strong background in using Python. You have spent at least 2 years managing a software engineering team or a similar technical customer-facing team in a cloud computing environment. Your experience includes developing AI or Generative AI solutions utilizing AI Tools and designing multi-agent workflows and Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.

You may hold a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related technical field. You have experience in designing interfaces for AI and agentic systems, and you are skilled in architecting AI solutions within infrastructures, ensuring data sovereignty and secure governance. You possess the ability to design observable multi-agent systems using design patterns, state management, and tool-calling protocols. You are adept at performing discovery interviews to identify business problems and translate hardware/AI constraints for C-suites and technical teams.

What you'll do

As the Field Solutions Architect Manager, you will lead a team dedicated to developing innovative AI solutions for Google Cloud. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to resolve blockers and translate field insights into actionable road maps. Your role will involve identifying skill gaps in emerging technologies, ensuring your team maintains subject-matter expertise in an evolving AI stack. You will also be responsible for building internal tools to drive organizational efficiency and enhance team performance.

You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that leverage Google Cloud's capabilities. Your leadership will guide your team in navigating complex technical challenges while fostering a collaborative environment. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of AI solutions within Google Cloud, ensuring that your team is equipped to meet the demands of a rapidly changing technological landscape.
