Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. With 12 years of experience as a technical lead or in a similar leadership role, you have guided technical strategy and project execution for engineering teams. You possess 10 years of experience driving process improvement programs and implementing change across teams and organization levels, along with training users. Your collaborative nature has allowed you to work effectively across multiple levels of an organization, particularly in supply chain management.

You hold a Master's degree in Engineering or an MBA with an emphasis in Operations Management or Supply Chain, which complements your extensive experience. Your background includes working in specific hardware verticals such as Accelerators, ML, Physical Infrastructure, or Networking/Optics. You have a solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain concepts like planning, sourcing, making, delivering, and sustaining, and you have applied these concepts to technical infrastructure. Your ability to design and roll out reliable systems or major features, with a focus on monitoring and failure domain characterization, sets you apart.

You excel at influencing without authority and navigating cross-functional organizations. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by strong verbal and written communication abilities, allowing you to facilitate discussions effectively. You are eager to be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products.

What you'll do

In this role, you will contribute to the innovation behind products loved by millions worldwide. Your expertise will shape the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance, efficiency, and integration. You will drive high-impact individual contributions by solving technical issues and consulting across design and manufacturing to translate reliability physics into business strategies that balance cost, risk, and speed. You will provide decisive leadership and ownership during internal or external technical emergencies, guiding teams through to full resolution.

You will be responsible for communicating strategy, design, and product status to VP-level leadership, ensuring alignment across teams. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to implement process improvements and drive operational excellence. You will also mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
