Plaid is hiring a Product Operations Lead to define and own the operational backbone of the Product organization. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing to ensure consistent execution and high-quality product work. This role requires a hands-on builder with a strategic mindset.

Who you are
You have a strong background in product operations, ideally with experience in scaling product organizations. You enjoy working collaboratively across teams and have a knack for defining processes that enhance productivity and clarity. Your hands-on approach allows you to build systems from the ground up, ensuring that teams can execute their work with excellence.
You thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable operating from first principles. Your strategic mindset enables you to define long-term goals for the Product organization, aligning operational practices with overall business objectives. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing.
Desirable
Experience in a multi-product company is a plus, as is familiarity with open finance or fintech. You are data-driven and can leverage metrics to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency. A background in project management or business operations will help you excel in this role.
What you'll do
As the founding Product Operations Lead at Plaid, you will be responsible for defining and owning the operational backbone of the Product organization. This includes establishing systems, cadences, and standards that help teams execute consistently and at high quality. You will work closely with various teams to ensure clarity of priorities and consistent execution across all product initiatives.
You will lead efforts to streamline processes and improve collaboration among teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals. Your role will involve setting up metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of product operations and making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
You will also play a key role in onboarding new team members and ensuring they understand the operational practices that drive success within the organization. As Plaid scales into a multi-product company, your contributions will be vital in shaping how Product operates and delivers value to millions of developers and businesses.
