Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, along with 5 years of experience managing technical projects in a changing industry. Your background includes experience working in network operations or design, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking products and infrastructure. You possess a strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies such as BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS, and CDN. Your ability to develop technical analysis, tools, and processes supports engineering execution and excellence. You thrive in ambiguous situations, breaking down complex problems into actionable plans while demonstrating independent problem-solving leadership. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are part of your toolkit, allowing you to collaborate effectively with executive leadership.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your role involves developing and maintaining project plans while building effective mechanisms to monitor and review program performance.
