Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in program management within operations, account management, or client services. Your background includes working with cross-functional and global teams, and you possess excellent communication, project, and stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable presenting materials to a range of partners on both technical and non-technical matters, and you understand that a problem isnβt truly solved until itβs resolved for all.
You have experience within an organizational setting, such as a PMO or geographic dispersion, and you are knowledgeable about data center operations. Your ability to travel 20% of the time as needed demonstrates your commitment to the role and the importance of collaboration across locations.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your technical expertise will be essential in guiding the team through the intricacies of project execution, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with organizational goals.
You will channel customer feedback to the delivery project management team to ensure an excellent in-production experience. Additionally, you will develop best practice recommendations based on your experiences during customer engagements and identify and implement process improvements.
