Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in program management. Your background includes managing compute and storage capacity, and you have experience building, automating, and developing distributed systems. You are skilled at managing cross-functional projects and have a strong understanding of capacity planning within large-scale infrastructure environments. Your ability to pivot between granular data analysis and high-level strategic thinking allows you to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
You have a demonstrated track record of delivering multiple ambiguous projects concurrently, showcasing your problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex challenges. You thrive in collaborative environments, influencing stakeholders across various organizations and levels of responsibility. Your experience managing or supporting infrastructure software development has equipped you with the technical expertise needed for this role.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your role will involve defining integrations, managing dependencies, and driving long-term objectives for fleet efficiency and increased scale. You will develop policies and identify improvements to software and processes, ensuring that project objectives and ongoing status are communicated effectively to senior stakeholders and leadership in Technical Infrastructure and partner Product Areas.
