Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering/Construction Management, Project Delivery, or equivalent practical experience. With 5+ years of experience in program or project management, you have a strong background in working with data centers or other mission-critical environments. Your expertise includes managing process improvement or construction programs, and you are comfortable collaborating across different stakeholder teams.

You possess a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, which enhances your ability to manage cross-functional projects effectively. Your knowledge of large-scale mission-critical infrastructure systems allows you to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and organize resources efficiently. You are detail-oriented and have strong follow-through capabilities, ensuring that business leadership is updated on project conditions.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project schedules. Your role will involve developing communication and rollout strategies for site findings, partnering with ExR Engineering to advance awareness and mitigation. You will leverage cross-functional partnerships to drive potential fleet-wide application of improvement recommendations, ensuring that projects are aligned with organizational goals.

You will be responsible for managing engineering and construction projects, collaborating with various teams to achieve project objectives. Your ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional partners will be essential in keeping everyone informed and engaged. You will also be tasked with updating DCDE Central Operations Leadership on project status, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
