Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in program management. Your background includes working with data centers or equipment/environments in engineering and construction, and you have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems within large facilities. You possess excellent project management and organizational skills, including requirements gathering, scheduling, and attention to detail for ensuring follow-through on leadership reporting. You are comfortable navigating complex cross-functional stakeholder teams and can manage and execute projects in an engineering or construction capacity. A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred, along with experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your role will involve developing communication and rollout strategies for site findings and mitigation awareness, collaborating with various teams to secure record approvals and drive fleet-wide application of improvements. You will also be responsible for reporting project health, risks, and mitigations directly to DCDE Central Operations leadership, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
