Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. With 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and advocating for customer needs, you excel at triaging technical issues across hardware, software, and operational processes. You possess 4 years of experience with technologies such as Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Administration, Machine Learning, Networking, and Kubernetes. Your ability to read and debug code in languages like Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, and Go sets you apart.
You have experience administering and querying data in distributed databases and are familiar with SQL and NoSQL database administration. Your knowledge extends to Google App Engine and cloud networking solutions, allowing you to understand and resolve complex technical deployment obstacles. You are well-versed in Linux/Unix operating systems and have a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and load balancing.
What you'll do
In this role, you will act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders, helping to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud services. You will advocate for customer needs by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to enhance product quality and drive improvements. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting database issues, schema design, and SQL query profiling, ensuring that customer issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
You will also engage in web or mobile app development, leveraging your technical expertise to enhance user experiences. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing insights to improve product offerings, and contributing to the overall success of the Google Cloud Platform team.
