Your ability to work well with others and communicate effectively makes you a valuable team member. You are comfortable handling physical tasks and can lift up to 49 pounds, ensuring that you can manage the demands of the role. You are flexible with your schedule and can work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, will be beneficial in this role. You are adaptable and can handle a fluid schedule, which is essential for success in the operations team.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and managing inventory to ensure accuracy. You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, as well as managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Additionally, you will handle customer communications regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring a smooth customer experience. You will utilize equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products safely and efficiently throughout your shifts.
