Overview

Gopuff is hiring an Operations Associate to join their operations team in Fort Lauderdale. You'll be responsible for various operational tasks including picking, packing, and managing inventory. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work flexible hours.

Who you are

You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys hands-on work. You have a positive attitude and are ready to take on challenges with enthusiasm. Your drive and perseverance make you an essential part of the operations team at Gopuff. You are capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand and walk for the duration of your assigned shift. You are also comfortable working in various conditions, including freezer locations.

You possess a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which helps you manage tasks efficiently. You are flexible with your schedule and can work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Your ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members is key to your success in this role.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate, you will pick and pack items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily responsibilities, as well as cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility.

You will also manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, ensuring that products are handled safely and organized well. Your role will involve contacting customers for substituted or out-of-stock items, and you will handle, scan, and move products in a safe manner. You will use equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to assist in moving products efficiently. Your contributions will help Gopuff provide everyday essentials to customers, day and night.
