Who you are
You are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to take on challenges. Your ability to work well with others and communicate effectively makes you a valuable team member. You are physically capable of performing tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 49 pounds throughout your shift. You are adaptable and can work a fluid schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies. Additionally, you will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, keeping the sales floor and overall facility clean and organized. You will also handle waste and spoilage by adhering to FIFO practices and contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items. Your role will involve using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products safely and efficiently.
