Your enthusiasm for the task at hand is evident, and you are ready to contribute to the success of Gopuff. You are capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand and walk for the duration of your assigned shift. You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which will help you in your daily tasks.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, clean and organize the sales floor, and manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. You will also be responsible for contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items and handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol. Your role will require you to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, and you will need to be available during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
