You are comfortable standing and walking for the duration of your shift and can lift up to 49 pounds as needed. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that the sales floor and overall facility are in top condition.

You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which aids in your efficiency and effectiveness in the role. Your flexibility allows you to adapt to a fluid schedule, making you available during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You are ready to embrace the challenges that come with working in a dynamic retail environment, and you have a keen interest in the products you handle, including snacks and beverages.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice while resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily responsibilities, as will cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently.

In this role, you will contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction. You will handle, scan, and move products in a safe and well-organized manner, utilizing carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment as necessary. Your ability to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts will be essential, as will your capability to walk several flights of steps throughout the day. You will also prepare quality beverages and food menu items, contributing to the overall customer experience.
