You possess a strong work ethic and are willing to take on various operational responsibilities, including picking and packing items for dispatch. Your enthusiasm for challenges and ability to maintain a positive attitude will contribute to the success of the operations team at Gopuff.
You are comfortable handling physical tasks, such as lifting up to 49 pounds and standing for extended periods. Your attention to detail ensures that you accurately manage inventory and resolve discrepancies when receiving products. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace, which contributes to the overall efficiency of the operations.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials promptly. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and managing inventory effectively. You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, ensuring compliance with FIFO practices to manage waste and spoilage.
You will work closely with partner drivers to facilitate smooth operations and communicate with customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items. Your ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, will be essential in meeting the demands of the role. You will utilize equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products safely and efficiently throughout your shifts.
