What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice. When discrepancies occur, you will take the initiative to resolve them promptly.

You will also manage the inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, ensuring that the sales floor remains organized and stocked. Compliance with FIFO practices is essential, as you will manage waste and spoilage effectively. You will be responsible for contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction.

Your role will require you to handle, scan, and move products safely and in an organized manner. You will utilize equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to facilitate the movement of products. Additionally, you may work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, so being comfortable in varying environments is important.
