You are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys hands-on work. You have a positive attitude and are eager to take on challenges, whether it's picking and packing items for dispatch or managing inventory. You understand the importance of teamwork and are ready to collaborate with your colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items up to 49 pounds throughout your shift. You are comfortable working in various conditions, including freezer locations, and are willing to adapt to a fluid schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Your attention to detail ensures that you handle products safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for customer dispatch. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily responsibilities, as well as cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility.
You will also manage waste and spoilage by adhering to FIFO practices, ensuring that products are handled and moved safely. Your role will require you to communicate with customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, providing excellent service and support. You will utilize equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products efficiently, contributing to a well-organized operation.
