Your experience includes working with distributed systems, where you've tackled challenges related to data integrity and performance optimization.

You are a proactive and pragmatic engineer, able to balance technical excellence with delivery impact. Your collaborative mindset allows you to build alignment across stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is on the same page when it comes to project goals and timelines. What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Gorilla, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the digital backbone of the energy transition. You'll lead architectural decisions across the platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance in high-load, data-heavy environments. Your responsibilities will include driving cross-functional technical initiatives that have a broad impact across the product, working closely with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow Engineers.

You'll design and build distributed systems that handle complex workflows and large volumes of energy data efficiently and securely. Taking ownership of critical components, you'll ensure they evolve with the needs of the business while maintaining high standards of performance and reliability. Your role will also involve mentoring other engineers, fostering technical growth through design reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
